Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born in San Francisco, CA in February 20th 1902. Ansel Adams was a smart but shy kid at a young age. Unfortunately, through out his school years he had problems fitting in due to that he was a smart and shy kid. Also because he had a broken nose ever since he was four years old. At the age of 12 he began to play the piano and taught himself how to read music. Soon enough it became his occupation until he was 22 years old. But then soon after left music, to do his passion, which was photography. It was not until 1927 that his first photograph was fully visualized. It was a photograph of monolith, the face of half dome. After seeing the success of this photograph, it gave him the inspiration to peruse his dreams.

Three interesting facts of Adams are:
  • That Adams had a passion to photograph the wilderness and the environment.
  • He described himself as a photographer, lecturer, and a writer.
  • Adams vast achieve of papers, memorabilia, correspondence, negative and many fine photographic prints are now at the center of creative photographs at the University of Arizona, Tucson.

I Chose this photograph of Ansel Adams because I loved how Adams chose the perfect angle to take the picture. As I saw this picture the first thing that caught my eye was the river because its lighter than the trees around it. As I followed the river, it took my eyes to the mountains. The white snow on the mountains gave this picture a better texture and made it look perfect. The clouds in this picture just made the picture better because it gives you that feeling of hope. It looks like a beautiful day after a stormy morning. I just loved everything about this picture because there is so much to look at and admire from it.

I absolutely love this picture because the affect of the panorama shows many different angles of the mall and gives it a different point of view.

I love how the colors of this photo really pops out and catches your eye. Also the sky gives the photo a view of awesomeness.

Found Faces Story

Overjoyed Jelly

Hello my name is Overjoyed Jelly. I'm around 25 years old, but not certainly sure because I get distracted easily and forget just about everything. I love smiling and just being joyful. That's the reason my parents decided to name me overjoyed jelly and I believe I fit right into that name perfectly. I would of loved to have brother and sisters but never had any, that is why I love being around students and acting like their my brothers and sisters. In my free time I like to tan with my sunroof and listen to my hit music. My occupation is to shine on my brother and sisters to give them light, alarm them when there's a fire and to spray water on them through my nose. One eye I use it to give them bright light to see where they are walking and don't trip with each other. The other eye is used as a fire alarm. I just want to protect my brother and sisters, that is why I am alarmed to let them know of any danger that there might be. Once in a while just for fun I use my nose to spray water on them. It's hilarious to see how they jump when they feel the water drops touch them. That is all I do all day and it's not hard at all and I love it! Last but not least I have a hidden talent that not many people know about. I have a huge bright light that I can shine with my mouth. When looking in my mouth you can see the sky and all the beautiful nature. It's a talent that I was born with and it's one of the main reasons I'm always joyful and talkative. Many people would find it embarrassing but for me it's an honor.
